Intellectual Property Counsel, Client Executive Christian Knott graduated as Diplomingenieur (equiv. Master of Science) at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. In 1993 at the Università per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy, he participated in an Intensive Italian language course. He took part in a Summer Session which included an intensive course English as a second language, American culture and cross-cultural communication at the University of California at Berkeley, USA in 1995 . He started his career in the IT business at Computer Associates, European Support Centre in St. Albans, England, in the year 1998. Christian Knott began his intellectual property career in 2002 at the patent and law firm Hammonds in Munich, Germany. Here, he was working as a patent engineer and was involved in realization and analysis of research, performed technical translations and carried out Information Disclosure Statements. He specialized in the areas of information technology, telecommunication, electronics and software technology. Christian Knott currently does freelance work as an IP counsel for various patent firms in Munich, Germany, i.e. Splanemann Reitzner Baronetzky Westendorp and Pruefer & Partner. His duties include responses to communications, compositions of patent applications, prior art research and technical translations. Since November 2008 he works for Talwar & Talwar Consultants, Chandigarh, India as Client Executive for Germany and USA. Christian Knott speaks German and English.
